HomeAdvisor launches at CES its integration with the Honeywell Total Connect Comfort (TCC) application. The TCC app will leverage HomeAdvisor’s patent-pending Instant Connect technology to instantly connect TCC users with a HomeAdvisor prescreened professional in less than a minute. For example, users can connect with a plumber to fix a leak detected by the TCC app, or with an electrician for an emergency rewiring. This is an industry first and truly extends in a meaningful manner to homeowners and home pros alike the service layer of the Internet of Things.
According to Parks Associates, “Nearly 20 percent of U.S. broadband households own a smart home device and nearly 10 percent of U.S. broadband households own a smart thermostat.”
