Ziff Davis Media and ShowStoppers to Host Media Showcase During CeBIT America

NEW YORK, Apr. 15, 2004 – PC Magazine, a Ziff Davis Media publication, and ShowStoppers, a pioneer in producing the most-innovative technology showcase events, are once again working together to host a media showcase and labs tour during CeBIT America.

PC Magazine and ShowStoppers will hold an exclusive press-only reception Tuesday, May 25, 2004, 6 to 9 p.m. at the New York City headquarters of Ziff Davis Media. Reporters, editors, columnists, industry analysts and producers will be invited to see industry leaders and start-ups demonstrate new ideas, digital tools and technology for use by consumers and businesses. Immediately following the press reception, PC Magazine will conduct tours of its world-class labs.

“For more than 20 years, PC Magazine has empowered technology enthusiasts and influencers to make qualified and educated purchasing decisions with the most trusted and comprehensive labs-based editorial coverage in the industry,” said Tim Castelli, Publisher, PC Magazine. “Every year we independently test over 2,000 products that shape our editorial coverage, and we’re pleased to be able to open our doors to showcase this important resource.”

“ShowStoppers is once again breaking new ground,” said Dan Janal, ShowStoppers partner. "We are the only technology showcase that hosts PC World's “Next Gear Innovations” and “World Class” awards, and co-locates with PC Magazine for the "Technical Excellence Awards -- and now with PC Magazine for tours of its world-class labs. That speaks volumes about how highly the press thinks of ShowStoppers -- and we look forward to the benefits that our latest collaboration will bring to our sponsors and the press.”
