ShowStoppers to host PC World's 20 Most Innovative Products Awards during
CES
Winners to receive trophies at elite press event
SAN FRANCISCO and AUSTIN, TX., NOV. 1, 2006 – PC
World, the most
widely-read computer or business magazine among purchase influencers, will
present PC World’s 20 Most Innovative Products Awards during
ShowStoppers at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES). The invitation-only
event will take place Monday, Jan. 8, 2007, 6 – 10 pm at the
Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas.
With this agreement, PC World and ShowStoppers bring together for the sixth consecutive
year the finest technologies and hundreds of journalists and decision-makers
for in-depth interviews, demonstrations and sneak previews.
Known for relaxed settings and signature style, ShowStoppers receptions
are exclusive, open only to media, industry analysts, and selected investment
firms. The PC World 20 Most Innovative Products Awards honor trend-setting products
that have emerged with the convergence of PC technology and consumer electronics.
The winning products combine unique qualities with envelope-pushing design and
function.
“The partnership with PC World intensifies the value and excitement of
the reception,” said Steven J. Leon, co-founder and partner of ShowStoppers. “Because
our event is designed to network key press with world-class products and services,
it’s a natural fit. The winners benefit from the added press attention,
and the media gain immediate access to even more high-quality companies – all
in one venue.”
Before selecting the winners of PC World’s 20 Most Innovative Products
