Sisvel explores patents, intellectual property licensing for consumer electronics

One of the world's leaders in managing intellectual property and maximizing the value of patent rights, Sisvel explores at IFA strategic and economic partnerships for the management of licensing programs in the consumer electronics field.

Some of the most successful patent licensing programs in the consumer electronics landscape have been developed and managed by Sisvel. For example, Sisvel manages licensing programs for MPEG Audio technology used in MP3 players, ATSS (Automatic Tuning and Sorting System) technology which automatically stores TV channels in a preferred order set up by the user, and automatic TV image format setting system (WSS). Sisvel is also currently working on establishing a patent pool for the DVB-H standard and a patent pool for CDMA2000, the standard of third-generation (3-G) mobile wireless technology.
