Women in Technology names ShowStoppers official producer of press events
SHERMAN OAKS, CA. and AUSTIN, TX., September 6, 2007 – ShowStoppers® is now the official producer of press events for members of WITI, Women in Technology International, the global trade association that helps prepare women to fill corporate leadership positions, and start to grow technology businesses.
The marketing partnership “creates new opportunities to introduce the press to the smart, tech-savvy women in business, the companies they run and the companies they create,” said Carolyn Leighton, founder and chair of WITI.
“The members of WITI are role models for the future,” said Steve Leon, partner, ShowStoppers. “They take on risky projects. They inspire. They create success. They design and market business, consumer, lifestyle and digital technologies for work, home and play. This is precisely what we want to help put on the radar for the thousands of reporters, editors, columnists and industry analysts who attend ShowStoppers events throughout the year.”
