Who runs this thing?ShowStoppers events are produced by Bob, Dave and Steve Leon, assisted by a team of skilled professionals who are experts in event logistics, sales, marketing, operations and customer service. ![]() Bob Leon, Founding PartnerBob is responsible for event logistics -- the room, menus, shipping in and out, and more. The most entertaining of the Leon brothers, ask Bob to tell you about the ant circus. He is president and founder of Colortone, a premier audio-visual staging company that produces and plans corporate meetings, theme parties, grand openings, seminars, shareholder meetings, trade shows, special events, and new product introductions across the U.S. -- including the Olympics, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Sundance Film Festival, the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year tour. ![]() Dave Leon, PartnerDave manages sales for ShowStoppers, working around the clock with demonstrators around the world. He also built our online and on-site registration systems, both of which are industry firsts. Dave ran computer labs for researchers at Columbia University, and did sales, marketing and customer support for several companies. In between, Dave attended every baseball and basketball game played by his eldest son, who now plays for his college team. ![]() Steve Leon, Founding PartnerSteve invites the press, talks with the press, and drives business development for ShowStoppers. He also drives very very fast, thanks to race-car classes at the Bondurant School of High Performance Driving. Steve is a journalist, entrepreneur, "wannabe" astronaut and PR veteran of the computer industry -- all the way back to 1981, timesharing, terminals, flowcharts and mainframes, before the first personal computer changed the world. In 1987, he built Technopolis® Communications Inc., a PR agency for technology companies, and in 1993 spun up ShowStoppers to help smaller agencies and companies meet more reporters, editors, columnists and industry analysts.
