ShowStoppers schedules official press events for IFA 2009, plus panels for US press at international preview and Berlin tradefair

IFA is world’s largest tradefair for consumer electronics and home appliances

BERLIN, GERMANY and AUSTIN, TX., USA, 16 Dec. 2008 – The future of business, consumer, home appliance, lifestyle and digital technologies for work, home and play will again preview in Berlin, Germany, at ShowStoppers®, the official press event of IFA 2009.

ShowStoppers @ IFA 2009 is scheduled for 2 Sept. 2009.

The invitation-only event organizes company launches, product introductions, sneak previews and demonstrations for journalists and industry analysts attending IFA, http://www.ifa-berlin.com, the largest consumer electronics and home appliances tradefair in the world.

This is the second annual event that ShowStoppers will produce in Berlin at IFA, continuing press activities that began with IFA 2008. During 2008, ShowStoppers co-produced US press panels at the IFA International Press Preview in Majorca. Press panels in Berlin featured journalists and bloggers from Business Week, USA Today, Crunchgear, PC World, CBS News, eWeek, engadget, technologizer, Into Tomorrow and Robert Scoble.

For 2009, ShowStoppers and IFA will again produce a preview event during CES in early January in Las Vegas; press panels that include selected US journalists and bloggers to be invited to the IFA International Press Conference scheduled for 16-19 April; and press panels and other activities to complement the September press event in Berlin.
