ShowStoppers events are produced by Bob, Dave and Steve Leon, assisted by a team of skilled professionals who are experts in event logistics, sales, marketing, operations and customer service.
Bob Leon, partner
Bob is responsible for event logistics — the room, menus, shipping in and out, and more.
He is the founder of Colortone, a premier audio-visual staging company that produces and plans corporate meetings, theme parties, grand openings, seminars, shareholder meetings, trade shows, special events, and new product introductions across the U.S. — including the Olympics, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Sundance Film Festival, the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year tour.

Dave Leon, partner
Dave manages worldwide sales for ShowStoppers. He also built the online and on-site registration systems used by ShowStoppers — both of which are industry firsts. His latest version of the online registration system allows journalists working on deadline to register for a ShowStoppers event with one click of a hyperlink.
Before ShowStoppers, Dave served as the Computer Operations Manager for Columbia University in New York City, leading a team of engineers and administrators that built the most professional, customer-focused and consistently high-performing organization in the information technology group at the world-renowned university. Prior to Columbia, Dave spent 12 years at Ernst Leitz GmbH, internationally recognized as the leader in optics and technology. Dave headed the applications and sales group serving precision measurement and inspection equipment. As manager of the applications group, he led the division’s core operations, including consulting, measurement, software, executive programs, events, and interactive businesses, as well as US sales and client-services organizations.

Steve Leon, partner
Steve invites the press, talks with the press, and drives business development for ShowStoppers. Steve is a journalist, entrepreneur, “wannabe” astronaut and PR veteran of the computer industry — all the way back to 1981, timesharing, terminals, flowcharts and mainframes, before the first personal computer changed the world.
In 1987, he built Technopolis® Communications Inc., a PR agency for technology companies — and in 1993, he spun up ShowStoppers to help agencies and companies of all size meet more reporters, editors, columnists and industry analysts.
