Both inside and outside of the classroom, it’s hard to count the number of ways students are exposed to technology. Today, educators, parents and teachers are aware of how interested and digitally savvy kids are when it comes to learning through new technology mediums. Intel’s Education Markets Platform Group (EMPG) has revolutionized the way students learn with classroom additions such as the student-friendly classmate PC, part of the Intel Learning Series.
EMPG has recently announced the newest addition to the Intel Learning Series suite – the Intel studybook. The studybook is a 7-inch, purpose-built tablet that features a ruggedized design, new product features and offers students a rich learning experience. Kids will love this new tablet that can easily be converted into a scientific tool with its convertible camera and attachable microscope lens. Furthermore, the tablet helps make learning fun and on-the-go, while at the playground or school, as the tablet is shock-absorbing, drop, dust and water-resistant. These ruggedized features make the Intel studybook the perfect tool for students to engage and experience education hands-on.
The Intel Learning Series designs products that are purpose-built for education and EMPG is happy to showcase all three reference designs at this year’s Sandbox Summit. The clamshell classmate PC and convertible tablet classmate PC are two other Intel Learning Series products that have helped students develop 21st century learning skills. And now, the new addition of the Intel studybook gives ecosystem partners a choice – products can be localized and customized to fit each particular market and their needs.
EMPG is happy to announce there are 7 million students taking advantage of the Intel Learning Series products, which show Intel’s commitment to advancing education worldwide.
